VUE Maldives is a luxury destination management company that provides a curated collection of the most unique resorts in the Maldives. Their collection has been carefully selected and is amongst expert Travel Advisors that have spent time visiting and understanding what makes a resort unique and luxury. VUE Maldives was founded by Sue Kang, a Maldives Connoisseur. She has worked in the luxury travel sector in the USA, Caribbean and Asia.
With various distinct microsites under the VUE Maldives Resorts, we needed to merge them all together into a single website. Lastly and most importantly, the new VUE’s website needed to be designed, developed, and launched in a 2-month timespan.
We merged the four sites into one, developing and hosting the new site to deliver the dynamic, mobile-ready experience VUE was looking for, its enhancements in load speed, flexibility, and privacy offered the user experience and performance objectives they were aiming for.
Despite the short timeframe, we launched the VUE Maldives’ website on its planned deadline, and instantly witnessed traction with users. In addition to it, having clear impacts on site traffic and user sessions, our development work was also enhanced by an impressive 62%. Now with its ongoing brand refresh and people-focused digital transformation,VUE Maldives Resorts can continue to grow well into the next century.
VUE built its business on giving personalized, ultra-luxe hospitality management experiences to clients. Through human-centric design and great copywriting, 61 Design Street was up to the challenge of showcasing that legacy of service to its users.
Using the fresh brand guidelines, our designs had a brand new, contemporary spin and a user-friendly navigation, giving VUE an aesthetic edge over its competitors. In copywriting for the new site, we took a user-first approach to messaging, using a friendly, conversational tone to make the brand relatable and better communicate the kind of service the users could anticipate.
Having a short timeframe to design, build, and write copy for such a complex website, our team’s organizing ability and agility were put to the test. Drawing from an all-inclusive, well-thought-out and insightful strategy, we quickly moved to design, and copywriting to ensure development had the sufficient time it needed to deliver exceptional results.
